Maks is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and has been with Willowtree Planning since January 2018 in the role of Chief Financial Officer. Maks started his professional career with the BIG 4, before moving on to further develop the skills gained and joined a reputable Chartered Accounting firm in Sydney. He has progressed into the role of a Business Services Manager, where he leads a team of ambitious and talented accountants. Working with the SME market and with previous experience working in State and Local Government, Maks prides himself in understanding and fostering client relationships on a personal level to truly partner and provide the uppermost level of Tax and Accounting advice for his clients. His technical expertise, industry experience and approachable personality allows him to deliver complex resolutions for his client’s needs, often resulting in infinite client referrals and expanding his professional network.
