Andrew Cowan
Director
Andrew joined Willowtree Planning as a Senior Associate in September 2015, before becoming a Director in 2016. He’s been involved in town planning for over 10 years, operating in Metropolitan Sydney and regional areas of New South Wales, with involvement in large-scale residential, health, industrial and commercial projects.
Andrew is responsible for the delivery of projects, liaison with authorities and business development and has acted as an expert witness in various Class 1 planning appeals in the Land & Environment Court of NSW.
In 2012, Andrew completed a Master of Property Development at the University of Technology Sydney and was awarded the Australian Property Institute Master Prize.
Andrew is a Registered Environmental Assessment Practitioner (REAP), and was accredited by The Planning Institute Australia (PIA) through their Registered Planner Plus (EIA) Scheme. The REAP Scheme will provide a framework for registering suitably skilled, qualified and experienced practitioners to make quality assurance declarations for environmental impact statements (EIS’s) for State Significant projects.
